Ah, to be a teen.  Most (adult) people think of it as a time of fun and freedom. Truth is, teens face incredible demands and experience stress from all corners-home, work, school, media, friends, and family.  Here are some links to help you as a teen find balance and take care of yourself.

Friendly peer support to help you find answers on any number of topics and worries.
  • Homework help  Fort Vancouver Regional Library has a great site to help you with schoolwork.
  • Apps for teens that help you focus on and relieve stress, find answers about health and learn about life are available (remember you can also ask your parents or teachers!) through I-tunes.
  • Stressed? Check this site out for some good ideas on finding ways to cope and manage.

  • Staying safe in a wired world-click here for information on ways to prevent being harassed, bullied, exploited or embarrassed. Remember-anything you write, text or post will be online FOREVER.  Your words and pictures can come back to haunt you at a later time, ruining your chances for good jobs, scholarships, or even friendships.
